No peace and safety here; mark my words and see.

So a prophet who predicts peace must show he is right. Only when his predictions come true can we know that he is really from the Lord. – Jeremiah 28:9 (NLT)

There were many “prophets” running around Jerusalem and Judah in the days of Jeremiah proclaiming that God would not send the disaster He promised by the hands of Nebuchadnezzar. Once the deportation of Jews into Babylonian exile occurred, then the Jewish prophets began touting that God would bring them back and return all the holy articles of temple worship back to Judah and restore the kingdom despite the warnings God gave through Jeremiah that the exile would last 70 years. God had Jeremiah tell the people to settle down in the land, farm it, raise families, and to pray for the nation that was their captor, for its welfare governed their welfare. The “prophets” lied to the people about peace and safety rather than confirm what God had said through ancient prophets of His and Jeremiah.

People of America, as much as I want to declare that there are better days ahead for us and that she will be restored to her former glory, but the LORD has prophesied judgment upon in this nation even from the ancient prophets. There is no “peace and safety” coming for America. Her hey days are behind her. There is violence and destruction coming upon us.

In Paul’s day, he wrote to the Thessalonian church about the coming judgment of God upon the world as a whole. He told them, When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape. The apostle warned people not to become complacent and sit back on their laurels and think that the Day of the LORD would not come upon them.

One would think that America would have learned her lesson in the shadow of the 1929 stock market crash, the late 1990s tech bubble bursting, and the collapse of the housing market in 2007 about declaring “peace and safety.” Yet, we know that people in their greed and rebellion want nothing to do with God and humble themselves before Him and to trust and rely on Him to provide. Instead, we strive to rebuild our sandstone-based economy through human efforts and continue to slowly abandon Israel, which will bring certain judgment from God upon us.

I am not predicting any peace or safety for America. On the contrary, I am delivering the message from God that “violence and destruction” from our captor is on the way. And, just as the prophet Jeremiah stated, we can only know if my prophecies from God are true IF they come to pass. However, I know that when I have prophesied in the past, they have come to pass. Those predictions were in the lives of individuals, and it has only been in the last two years that God has called me to serve in an end-time capacity to bring a fresh word from God about America’s need to get on her face before YHWH and repent and turn from her wicked deeds. However, I know that America will not relent from her self-destruction and will continue to sink ever deeper into the mire of sin she is in even unto this day!

God have mercy on America.

Father, I have done all that You have asked to me do and said all that You have asked me to say to the people of this stiff-necked, rebellious people who are no different from those whom You delivered and brought out of Egypt by Your mighty hand and outstretched arm. You have given us prosperity beyond measure, yet we have wasted it and exploited it and now are looking desperately everywhere for resources to satiate our continual greed and hunger for more and more of the sensual and physical all the while rejecting Your salvation. Have mercy upon us oh LORD! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
