And they were shouting with a great roar, “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!” – Revelation 7:10
We see in this passage a great multitude of people surrounding the throne of God in heaven and hear them roaring in a tumultuous shout in praise to the Creator of the universe. They shout that salvation comes from God and from the Lamb, who is Jesus. It’s a celebration of life in the presence of the Life, himself. What a scene!
Today’s message is simple and clear: When we are living with God for the remainder of eternity, we will be praising the One, who gives us life. He is the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus paid the price of and for our salvation on the night he was arrested and tried illegally and illegitimately and then tortured, beaten, stripped, and murdered. He endured all that in order that we didn’t have to do so and could have a way to be redeemed back to God. Where Adam failed, Jesus succeeded. Jesus gives us eternal life and no other. Take a moment and give a loud, roaring shout out of praise to the One, who loves you and gave himself for you!
Father, my prayer is simple and concise. I LOVE YOU! I SHOUT OUT MY PRAISE TO YOU! PRAISE BE TO THE ONE WHO GIVES ME LIFE AND REDEEMED ME FROM A DEMON’S HELL! TO YOU AND YOU ALONE DO I WORSHIP! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
