Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies. – Psalm 107:2
In the opening of this psalm the author tells us that God is and that his faithfulness endures forever. Then the writer proceeds to question the reader about whether or not God has redeemed that person? If so, then the writer commands the reader to speak out and tell others how God redeemed them from their enemy!
Well, what can I say today? God has spoken to me for sometime about getting people to OPEN THEIR MOUTHS and declare the Lord’s goodness with others. Jesus COMMANDED us to preach (proclaim) the Good News of his work on the cross and resurrection to EVERY person on the earth. Do you not realize that we OVERCOME the enemy by the Blood of the Lamb and the WORD of our TESTIMONY? Even if you are 5 years old or 95 years old and are a child of God, you have an obligation and mission to share your witness with people around you. NOT ONCE did God tells us to just let people see our deeds and let that be our witness, although it’s as important as any part of our walk with God. You have to SHARE your story with others. Do as the psalmist wrote and “SPEAK OUT” and “TELL OTHERS” how God redeemed you from a demon’s hell.
Father, help me to share my testimony with any and all that come in contact with me. Help me to teach others how to be bold and courageous in telling their story of how you redeemed them from sin and hell and gave them eternal life. Too many of your people are just sitting on the bench and refuse for one reason or another to get into the game and be an active member of the squad. Lord of the harvest, please raise up and send out laborers into the whitened fields to reap a harvest before this world wraps up soon. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
