But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back. – 1 Corinthians 15:23
As Paul wrapped up his 2nd letter to the Corinthian church, he told them of a great mystery to come, of the resurrection of the dead in the Anointed One, Jesus, and the rapture. He prefaced the whole thing by stating that if there was to be no resurrection, then Jesus wasn’t resurrected. This leads to all who believe in Jesus as being fools and without hope. He then proceeded to say that there is an order to the resurrection of the “righteous,” as Daniel called it. First Jesus rose, and then all who belonged to Jesus would be raised WHEN HE COMES BACK.
Have you not grown tired of the preachers who have filled our ears with lies and misinformation about the resurrection and rapture? I don’t claim to know it all, but the Holy Spirit made it pretty clear through the words of Paul in several letters that the rapture takes place at the end of this age not before the tribulation, not during the middle of it, but at the end! LOOK PEOPLE! Even the apostle states it in easy to read and understand language in the verse for today! QUOTE ——> “ALL WHO BELONG TO CHRIST WILL BE RAISED WHEN HE COMES BACK“!!!!!!
Even in the 2nd letter to the Thessalonians, Paul wrote in what we call chapter 2 the following:
Events prior to the Lord’s Second Coming
Now, dear brothers and sisters, let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him. Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us. Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day [what day? the Day of the LORD when he comes to earth and we are gathered to him – raptured] will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction. He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.
Don’t you remember that I told you about all this when I was with you? And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes. For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way. Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming.
Folks, there is no secret coming of Jesus to rapture the church prior to the tribulation hour! That would make God out to be a liar, but God is not a man that he should lie! KNOW YOUR BIBLE! STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELVES APPROVED BY GOD! Even the Catholic King James authorized translators of 1611 got it right when the wrote in the heading above the SECOND COMING OF JESUS! They got it right over 400 years ago, what makes us so smart and stupid simultaneously to think that we get a get-out-of-tribulation- free card?!? For what most people don’t understand is that a lot of the tribulation, at least in the beginning, isn’t God’s wrath upon man but satan’s wrath! Read up, study, learn!
Read on! From Revelation and the apostle John (Rev. 11),
“Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet [there were seven trumpets and at the sound of the last trumpet, which is what Paul wrote to the Corinthians -hmmmm,]…The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ…The nations were filled with wrath, but now the time of your wrath has come. It is time to judge the dead and reward your servants the prophets, as well as your holy people, and all who fear your name, from the least to the greatest. It is time to destroy all who have caused destruction on the earth.”
This sounds to me like John and Paul were on the same sheet of music, so why the pre-tribulation lies and heresy? Because people don’t want to think that they will have to suffer for the cause of Christ. Those who think this and believe this are in error and don’t know their Bible, for it states elsewhere, “For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.” (1 Pete 2:21) And again, “And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.” (Romans 8:17)
Any doubts? Go back to John’s writing above, for it was at the last trumpet (#7) that the 24 elders before God’s throne fell to their knees and proclaimed that “the world has NOW become the Kingdom of our Lord…but NOW the time of your wrath has come.” The events during the seven seals were not the wrath of God but of satan. In fact the first 4 seals were the four riders of the apocalypse sent down to the earth to wreak havoc on the earth. Go Read and Learn for Yourself!
Father, thank you for opening the Truth of your Word to my heart, eyes, and ears. I thank you that there is salvation and hope for me because Jesus did rise from the dead. Many say it doesn’t matter when Jesus comes back, but it does matter! The truth needs to be told and known! Many will fall away because of the lies they’ve been taught for so long and have never taken the time to read your word for themselves. God help them, please, to come to the light of the Truth. I love you and thank you. Your will be done, not mine. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
