Having God’s favor on your life.

Scripture:
O Lord, please hear my prayer! Listen to the prayers of those of us who delight in honoring you. Please grant me success today by making the king favorable to me. Put it into his heart to be kind to me.” – Nehemiah 1:11

Observation:
Nehemiah received word from folks back in Judah that the city gates had been burned and the walls around Jerusalem were torn down! He mourned over the situation. The king, whom he served in Babylon, noticed his melancholy and granted him permission to travel home to investigate the situation. Nehemiah could only have done so with the king’s favor and with God giving him favor with the king.

Application:
The favor that Nehemiah sought from God to speak with Artaxerxes of Babylonia, I seek from God to speak to the President of the United States (POTUS). God granted him favor, and God told me I will speak to POTUS. My mission was confirmed by someone I know well and said,

“‘Son of man,’ he said, ‘I am sending you to the nation of [America], a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me. They and their ancestors have been rebelling against me to this very day. They are a stubborn and hard-hearted people. But I am sending you to say to them, “This is what the Sovereign Lord says!” And whether they listen or refuse to listen—for remember, they are rebels—at least they will know they have had a prophet among them.

“’Son of man, do not fear them or their words. Don’t be afraid even though their threats surround you like nettles and briers and stinging scorpions. Do not be dismayed by their dark scowls, even though they are rebels. You must give them my messages whether they listen or not. But they won’t listen, for they are completely rebellious! Son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not join them in their rebellion. Open your mouth, and eat what I give you.’”

To this end was I born! This is my mission in life and my mission within God’s mission in this world, the Missio Dei!

It doesn’t matter whether I live or die.
To be true and faithful to my God, this message I cry!
My nation to its knees does our Lord and God call.
Otherwise into the hands of our enemies do we fall!
Repent of ours sins is his Word for us today.
Ask for his forgiveness and may his blessings stay.
Turn, turn from your wicked ways he pleads,
Then and only then will He fulfill our nation’s needs!

Prayer:
Father, you called me back to Washington, DC to speak to the President of the United States (POTUS) and to the leaders of the US Congress (COTUS). I have a brother, Jonathan Cahn, who has addressed the leaders of COTUS ahead of me. I ask for your favor today that I may have access to the POTUS, as you directed I would. You gave me a message to deliver to the leadership  of this nation, which I intend to carry out at all costs! I mean all costs: life, limb, job, family, etc.! You called for one who would stand up as though one crying in the wilderness to which I said, “Here am I , Lord, send me!” Your will be done, not mine. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
