Are you ready to rejoice through the coming persecution?

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.  Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. – Matthew 5:11-12

Jesus went up the mountain and sat down to teach to the apostles. He began his teaching that would come to be known as the Olivet discourse, the Sermon on the Mount, and the Sermon few wanted to hear. In the course of the teaching he stated that we are blessed when people insult us, persecute us, and defame us because of him. He even said that we should rejoice about this maltreatment because it brings a great reward in heaven, for even the prophets were mistreated in this way.

Anyone with any sense at all can see that our national leader despises the truth of Christianity and does all he can to ignore us and turn a blind eye to our brothers suffering around the world. I tell you that more of the same is coming to this world. The enemy knows that his times is coming soon to unleash his hellacious attacks on humanity. In the meantime, we are going to see the hatred of Jews and Christians rise around the world. That foaming hatred will come to the shores of the USA! We are not exempt from attacks by the enemy.

If you are not secure in your relationship with the heavenly Father, then I implore you today to get your life right with God – not allah, buddha, or some other dead man or false god. There is no God but YHWH! He is the Creator! He is our Father! He is our Prince of Peace! He is Wonderful! He is our Counselor! He is the Mighty God! However, we will see persecution of our people in the coming months and years, for it is inevitable. The USA must align itself with the rest of the world to participate in the grander scheme of things involving the son of perdition, his false religious adviser, and the father of lies.

When you start seeing true Christians who stand up for their faith being jailed and slaughtered in this nation, strengthen yourself and grow a backbone. It could be you or a family member or friend or church member next; however, rejoice should such heinous things occur. Your reward awaits you in heaven. Is it no wonder the scriptures tell us to count it all joy!

Father, I thank you for your love and mercy. I thank you for your divine provision and protection. There will be a day that we as your children may have to give our lives in service to you. I don’t fear that day should it arise, for as Paul stated, to be absent from the body is to be with you! Therefore, let people threaten me with a good time. Let them take this decaying body of flesh, for my spirit is in your hands. I look forward to the reward of spending eternity with you, whether or not it involves my being persecuted or not. You are my salvation! Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
